Services
Upright, baby grand and grand pianos, moved across Los Angeles and Southern California. Every piano has its own shape, balance and finish — we plan the protection, equipment and route around yours.
I
Careful protection for the cabinet, keyboard and finish. Your upright stays upright, supported on a piano dolly.
II
A smaller grand deserves the same attention. We protect the finish, remove the legs and pedal lyre, and secure the piano to a padded board.
III
A larger instrument calls for a carefully planned route. We assess doorways, corners and stairs at both ends before moving day.

Questions
A few things to know before moving day. Have another question? Include it with your quote request.
Tell us the floor and roughly how many steps there are at the pickup and at the delivery address, and whether the stairs turn or have landings. Stairs change the equipment and the number of hands a move needs, so they’re reflected in your quote. A photo of each staircase is the quickest way to show us.
Narrow doors, tight corners, steep paths and elevator sizes all shape how a piano leaves one home and enters the next. If there’s an elevator, let us know — and whether your building asks for a reserved time or other arrangements for moves. The more we know about the route, the more accurate your quote.
Clear the top of the piano and the path around it, roll up loose rugs, and close the lid and fallboard if you can. Leave the legs and pedal lyre where they are — taking them off is part of preparing the piano for the move. If the instrument has a loose leg, a recent repair or a delicate finish, mention it in your request.
A local move starts at $275 for an upright and $375 for a baby grand or grand piano. The first 10 miles and the first 3 steps at each end are included; longer moves add $10 for every 5 miles, and more stairs add $5 per step. Moves within the same building or property are $50 less, with a $225 minimum. Choose a date in the quote form to see your exact price for that day.
Yes. Moving an upright between Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area is $1,595, and a baby grand or grand is $1,795. We run the route about once a month, or on your dates when the crew is free.
From the next day — we don’t book same-day moves. Pick an open date in the quote form, and we’ll contact you to confirm the time.
After the move, in cash or by Zelle.
We review the details and reply using the contact method you chose — with a quote, or with a few questions if we need more information. You decide whether to go ahead once you’ve seen it.
