Use these published rules to understand your estimate before choosing a date. Enter both addresses and count the steps at each end separately.

Elevator access has no per-step charge. Tell us the elevator dimensions and any reservation requirements, because the instrument still needs a suitable route.
Two examples you can check
Upright, 18 miles, 5 steps at pickup
The $275 starting price plus $20 for the two additional 5-mile blocks and $10 for two extra pickup steps gives a $305 list estimate, if delivery has no more than 3 steps.
Baby grand, within one property
The $375 starting price less the $50 same-property adjustment gives a $325 list estimate, with no more than 3 steps at either end.
These are calculation examples, not completed moves or fixed quotes. They assume standard access. The calendar shows the price for your selected date; instrument size or unusual access may need review.
Why your date and access matter
The calendar can show a lower price on some local dates. Compare the dates available for your route; a displayed discount applies to that date, not every future move.
Photos of tight turns, outside steps, long paths and the piano help us assess work that a mileage calculation cannot describe. Include parking or building access restrictions in your note.
For Los Angeles–San Francisco moves, use the route prices. The local $275/$375 starting rates do not apply to that trip.

Is the price different for a grand piano?
Local baby grand and grand moves start at $375. The size of a grand and access at both addresses must be reviewed; photos help confirm the quote.
Do stairs at both homes count together?
The first 3 steps at pickup and the first 3 at delivery are included separately. Each additional step at either end adds $5 under the published local pricing rules.
When do I pay?
Payment is after the move, in cash or by Zelle. Submit the details for review and confirmation before moving day.
