What your estimate includes
Tell us your piano, both addresses and your preferred date. LA–San Francisco has its own route pricing; other routes need a personal review.
These are route starting prices, not local rates. Piano size, access, dates and capacity need confirmation.
If the form cannot price your route, send the details for a personal quote. No payment is collected here.
Unusual instruments and routes outside standard pricing receive a personal quote.
Los Angeles to the San Francisco Bay Area
Rhino plans piano moves between Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area in both directions. Published route starting prices are $1,595 for an upright and $1,795 for a baby grand or grand. Local starting prices do not apply to this trip.
Scheduled runs are usually about once a month, with dates and capacity checked in the calendar and confirmed by the team. A route page does not reserve a place or promise a fixed departure. Pickup planning differs by direction: use the Bay Area address as pickup for a southbound request.
Read the LA–San Francisco route guide for the route schedule and access details. If your plans are flexible, include that in the request.
Other routes need an individual review
Long-distance and interstate requests outside the published corridor need a personal quote. Provide the complete pickup and delivery addresses, preferred date, instrument type and access at both ends. A route outside standard online pricing is not a confirmed service booking.
The form may show that a personal quote is needed instead of an amount. Submit the details or call Rhino to discuss feasibility, dates and pricing. A local or LA–San Francisco starting price must not be used as the quote for a different destination.
Tell us about delivery deadlines, building moving hours, elevator reservations and who will provide access at each end. The crew reviews these details before confirming arrangements.
The instrument and access still come first
For an upright, include a full view, the make and model if known, and photos of any steps. For a baby grand or grand, give the length or model and show the entire path through tight doors and turns. Both pickup and delivery access matter on a long route.
Describe steep driveways, outside steps, gates, long carries and parking restrictions. Count steps separately at each address. For an elevator, supply the usable cab dimensions and door opening.
Leave the piano in place and the grand’s legs and pedal lyre attached for the crew. No payment is taken through this quote form. Dates and arrival arrangements are confirmed with you after review.
Your questions, answered
Can I request a long-distance quote online?
Yes. Enter the piano and both addresses. The published LA–San Francisco corridor can use route pricing; other routes receive a personal review rather than a local-price estimate.
Are local prices valid for long-distance moves?
No. The local $275 and $375 starting prices do not apply to the LA–San Francisco route or other long-distance trips.
Does submitting the form book the route?
No. The team reviews the route, instrument, access, dates and capacity before confirming arrangements with you.
