What your estimate includes
Moving an upright, baby grand or grand? Tell us your piano, route and date. See your estimate on step four, before sending your request.
Includes 10 miles and 3 steps at each end. No payment now. Pay after the move — cash or Zelle.
Distance, access, piano size and your selected date affect the estimate. We contact you to confirm the arrival time.
Unusual instruments and routes outside standard pricing receive a personal quote.
A local move, planned around your piano
Rhino moves upright, spinet, console, baby grand and grand pianos across Los Angeles and Southern California. Give us the full pickup and delivery addresses rather than just the city names: the mileage between the two locations affects the quote.
For Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Glendale, Pasadena, Burbank, Torrance and Long Beach, the same details matter: piano type, access, steps and your preferred date. A city name alone does not promise a starting-price move or an available day.
Looking for movers nearby in the San Fernando Valley, Orange County or Ventura County? You can enter either address directly in the form here. We check the route and available dates together.
See the estimate before sending your request
Start by choosing the piano type. Add both addresses and describe the stairs or elevator at each end. Next, compare available dates in the calendar. On the fourth step, review the calculated estimate and your details before you submit.
Local upright pricing starts at $275; baby grand and grand pricing starts at $375. The first 10 miles and the first 3 steps at each end are included. Additional distance and steps affect the estimate. A larger grand or unusual access needs review, and instruments outside standard pricing receive a personal quote.
No deposit is collected in this form. Payment is after the move, in cash or by Zelle. Choosing a date submits a request; the crew contacts you to confirm the time and arrangements. See the price guide for the published mileage and stair rules.
Protection and access at both homes
Describe narrow doorways, sharp hallway turns, outside steps, steep paths, gates and the distance from parking to the piano. Count pickup and delivery steps separately. Building moving hours and elevator reservations belong in your notes.
Uprights are protected and moved upright on a piano dolly. A grand uses padded blankets, a piano board and removal of the legs and pedal lyre at the appropriate stage. Leave the piano in place for the crew and send photos of access you are unsure about.
For a move between Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area, use the route guide. Its prices and run dates differ from local moves.
